Just like the previous EMCO areas, any movements in and out of the condominium are fully prohibited once the EMCO kicks in at the stroke of midnight on 31 March 2020 which will affect 3,200 residents until 13 April. The move was imposed on the Menara City One not only to stop the spread of COVID-19 but also to allow authorities to perform test from unit to unit.

They can also still purchase essential supplies from stores within the building. Nevertheless, the situation is still quite serious as the government will still set up a Medical Base at the building throughout the EMCO implementation.
