Instead of last year’s white and gold colourway or the older black and red combo, the 2019 Predator Helios 300 is now in black and blue. This colour combo is identical to the Predator Triton series (the new Predator Triton 500 which was just released in Malaysia, as an example) and has also been adopted by the equally new Helios 700.

Furthermore, both sides of the laptop have now been trimmed which resulted in sleeker profile as well as thinner side bezels on its display. Of course, Being a new model, the 2019 Helios 300 also comes with a new set of hardware as well. In terms of CPU, it can be obtained with the upcoming 9th Gen Intel Core processor as well as up to Intel Core i7-8750H in certain markets. For graphics, options available GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q, full GeForce RTX 2060, and the vaguely described “latest” GeForce GTX graphics. With the ability to support up to 32GB RAM, the laptop also able to fit two 512GB solid state drive in RAID 0 mode alongside up to 2TB hard drive.

Interestingly, the 2019 Helios 300 can be obtained with either 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch Full HD IPS display. For certain markets, there is also 144Hz panel option for both sizes. The 2019 Helios 300 will be generally released into the world starting from May onwards with a price tag of USD 1,199.99 (~RM 4,938).
