The image, which was first posted on the mobile site 91mobiles, showes a blurred out image of the allaged Pixel 4 XL, along with the details of its supposed hardware on display via the DevCheck Hardware and Software Info app. The most obvious and stark piece of information is the chipset; the phone is clearly running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, instead of the more recent Snapdragon 855+. Further details also show that the phone’s display measures in at 6.23-inches, while its resolution is rated at 1440 x 3040 pixels, and with a pixel density of 540 ppi. All encased within a 19:9 aspect ratio. Unfortunately, app fails to reveal any further details, such as the storage capacity of the phone or the amount of memory it’s running on. In regards to the latter, rumours suggest that the phone will likely ship out with 6GB RAM, bare minimum. There’s also still no launch date for the devices from Google, although an October launch is starting to look very likely. Especially when you look at the company’s launch trend for its Pixel smartphones over the last couple of years. (Source: 91mobiles via Android Authority)
