The leaked images were discovered on the blog page, Xperia Blog. At a glance, the phone looks nearly identical to the current Xperia 1. And while the all-black theme makes it difficult to make out the rest of the phone’s other physical features, the one feature that does stand out is the camera’s position. The main module clearly still uses a triple-camera main array, but unlike the Xperia 1, its been shifted to the side rather than locked in the middle of the upper part of the phone. Further, you can also see both the Sony and Xperia branding at the back of it.

Unfortunately, they’re not accompanied by information of any sort, not even about the hardware beneath the hood. Given its length, though, it’s likely that the phone will retain the 21:9 form factor first introduced with the Xperia 1. On another note, the likelihood that the phone will also ship out with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 is very high. In any case, we’ll just have to wait and see if the phone in question will indeed be making its way to Sony’s show floor at IFA 2019. (Source: Xperia Blog via Android Authority)
