To recap; the Zeiss ZX1 features an all-black metal exterior, an electronic viewfinder, a 4.3-inch LCD touchscreen, and a fixed 35mm f/2 lens. The camera is equipped with a 37.4MP full-frame sensor, an ISO range of 80 to 51,200, and 512GB of internal storage.
Besides running on an unspecified version of Android OS, the ZX1 also includes a full version of Adobe Lightroom as part of its software system. Video-wise, the device is capable of recording 4K at 30fps and Full HD at 60fps. Onboard connectivity includes support for Bluetooth, WiFi and USB-C. Zeiss definitely took their time with the ZX1, and it would be surprising if there are any takers still interested in picking it up after the two year delay. Regardless, the camera is priced at US$6,000 (~RM24,950) with pre-orders now open. However, the company has yet to reveal its expected release date. (Source: Zeiss via BHPhotoVideo / DPReview)
