Under Section 4.5.3, developers are told to not “spam, phish or send unsolicited messages to customers.” And yet, this is what the Carpool Karaoke notification seems to be. https://twitter.com/johlag/status/1073730811982172160 With all that said, it’s a problem that iPhone users won’t have to deal with once they turn off notifications for the Apple TV app. Unless users are getting these kinds of notifications when they’ve explicitly turned them off, which is another matter entirely.
