Aptly called the ROG Swift 360Hz, the new display comes with a 24.5-inch panel from AU Optronics that has a native Full HD resolution although the actual panel type was not revealed in the announcement. Since it was co-developed with NVIDIA, it goes without saying that display also has native support for the company’s G-Sync variable refresh rate technology which is delivered through a dedicated G-Sync processor. Meanwhile, ASUS has pointed out that the 360Hz refresh rate allows the monitor provides an unprecedented level of clarity, smoothness, and responsiveness. Interesting enough, the new monitor is being aimed at the esports market which is why the ROG Swift 360Hz has been referred to as an “esports monitor” by ASUS and NVIDIA. However, the availability and pricing for the new ASUS ROG Swift 360Hz gaming display is not yet known at the moment. Since it is a ROG product, it is likely that the display’s price tag would be on the premium side of the spectrum but nevertheless, we’ll keep you posted once we receive more updates about it from ASUS.
