Despite the distinction, the two phones have more in common than the usual base and Pro models. Going over the similarities, both models of the ASUS ROG Phone 6 come with a 6.78-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display with a 165Hz refresh rate and 720Hz touch sampling rate. Both also pack the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen1 chipset, as is befitting of a top-of-the-line gaming phone. They also draw power from a massive 6000mAh battery, which supports 65W charging. For their cameras, the ASUS ROG Phone 6 series sport a 50MP main camera, a 13MP wide angle shooter and a macro lens. In front, both models sport a 12MP camera. The ASUS ROG Phone 6 will be available in 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB RAM and storage configurations. The former will be priced at RM3599, while the latter will have a RM4399 price tag. It will also come with Storm White and Phantom Black colourways, as well as Aura RGB lighting at the back. Though it will only be available in August. As for the Pro model, this has 18GB of RAM and 512GB of storage space, and a price of RM4999. This is only available in Storm White, but the back now features the ROG Vision mini display. It will also arrive later than the base model, as it is currently slated to be available in September. All that being said, pre-orders for both models open tomorrow on the ASUS Mobile Official Store on Shopee, as well as other authorised offline retailers. Doing so will get you early bird freebies worth RM548, including a one-year warranty extension and the AeroActive Cooler 6, pictured above. These are worth RM199 and RM349, respectively.
