The Canon EOS M50 Mark II features a 24.1MP APS-C sensor, paired with a DIGIC 8 processor and Dual Pixel CMOS AF that now includes face and eye-tracking. It also has a continuous shooting speed of up to 7.4fps with servo AF for capturing moving subjects, and supports a burst of 36 Large (Fine) JPEGs and 10 JPEG-RAWs. In terms of video, the Mark II is able to record Full HD at 60fps and 4K at 24fps.

Other features include a vari-angle LCD display with touch screen functionality for focusing and one-tap recording, support for video capture in vertical format, and the ability to wirelessly live stream videos to YouTube via built-in software. Canon also added that the EOS M50 Mark II can also be used as a high-quality webcam via the free EOS Webcam Utility app or Clean HDMI output.

The new camera is scheduled to be available in the US in late November 2020 and is selling at an estimated retail price of US$600 (~RM2,488) for body only. Bundles with a EF-M 15-45mm kit lens and a separate combo featuring the same kit lens plus a EF-M55-200mm is also available.
