Canon claims that the MP250 is able to throw 93-inch images onto any wall or surface from a distance of 3 metres which is ideal for home and office use. Additionally, it is capable of projecting up to 4K UHD via a resolution of 854 x 480 (WVGA) at a maximum of 250 lumens brightness, as well as featuring automatic vertical keystone correction and image rotation. The mini projector weighs only at 407g, includes a built-in base stand allowing for a 40-degree angle projection, and is compatible with a variety of tripod stands.
Under its hood is a quad-core 1.5Ghz processor, 2GB of SDRAM, 4GB of built-in device memory (expandable up to 32GB via microSD), and runs on an embedded operating system based on Android 7.1.2. Connectivity-wise, the MP250 includes one HDMI 1.4 port, two USB-A 2.0, WiFi and Bluetooth support, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Powering the device is a rechargeable 3,100mAh battery, which Canon claims is able to allow for 2 hours of back-to-back video playback. On top of the mini projector is a Smart Touchpad that supports two-finger gesture controls for convenient operation. Also onboard is a 2.5W mono speaker for audio output.
Canon stated that the new MP250 wireless mini projector is slated to be released in Malaysia sometime in September 2020. The device will be priced at RM2,199 and is only available in metallic grey/silver. (Source: Canon [1] [2])
