In terms of pricing, it’s pretty similar to what the people of Sabah are getting, post pricing revision. In other words, a 40Mbps connection is worth RM80 a month, while a 100Mbps line costs RM120 a month.
Other perks include 10 sen per minute call rates to all networks, and a free modem to use the Celcom Fibre plan with. As you’d also expect from a fibre plan, you also get unlimited data to use. Lastly, the contract period is two years. In terms of infrastructure, while the Celcom Fibre service uses what’s been laid out by Celcom Timur, the service in Jasin will be riding on TNB’s fibre network. Which makes sense, seeing that it is a part of the successful NFCP pilot project, after all.
