Other features are expected soon, and the bank is also currently accepting recommendations or suggestions from users in order to provide more services and convenience via the messaging service.

CIMB ensures that all conversations between the user and its messaging service in WhatsApp are secured with end-to-end encryption. Therefore meaning that the messages will not be observed by other parties, including WhatsApp themselves. To commemorate CIMB’s launch of its official WhatsApp account, the bank is also offering RM10 e-vouchers from Lazada to its users.
