Starting from the outside, the HONOR 20 is slightly smaller, measuring 6.2 inches diagonally. It also comes with a simpler looking, but still gorgeous, mirror glass back. On the other hand, the HONOR View20 comes in a 6.4-inch form factor. On the back you’ll also see a holographic cascading chevron, which will score higher on visuals if you’re into that sort of thing.

Looks aside, let’s look at what each device does best. With the HONOR View20, mobile gaming is its forte. This is thanks to a number of key tech that it’s packing. First among them is the liquid cooling system that it has, which cools a wide area of heat while it’s in your hands. Its triple-antenna WiFi also allows for consistent WiFi connectivity regardless of the way you hold the HONOR View20 while gaming. Sheer performance isn’t an issue either, as the HONOR View20 comes with a Kirin 980 AI chipset. And with the latest software update, it also comes with GPU Turbo 3.0 which pushes its performance even further when playing supported games.

On the other hand, the HONOR 20 is undoubtedly the device of choice for those who are into mobile photography. The main camera, a Sony IMX586 48MP sensor, does most of the heavy lifting, and the AI Ultra Clarity shooting mode helps improve detail preservation. This is also available on the HONOR View20. But going beyond the main camera, the HONOR 20 comes with three other cameras dedicated to performing different duties. When you need to take in the scenery, you have the 16MP dedicated wide-angle camera with its 117-degree field of view.  Close-up macro shots are usually only possible with clip-on lenses, but the HONOR 20 can do it with its dedicated 2MP macro camera. And finally, there’s another 2MP dedicated depth sensor, which gives depth information to the main 48MP shooter. This allows it to take portrait shots with better bokeh.

These key difference aside, you’ll likely have a similar user experience using the two phones. Both come with the Kirin 980 chipset, and both comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. That said, the HONOR View20 does have an 8GB + 256GB option. The two phones also have a similar battery capacity, with the HONOR 20’s rated at 3750mAh, while the HONOR View20’s being slightly larger, at 4000mAh. The HONOR 20 and HONOR View20 are both available at all HONOR Experience Stores, Hihonor.com/my and the official HONOR store on Shopee. The former is priced at RM1699, with purchases coming with free gifts worth up to RM500. The latter also comes with free gifts, and is currently part of the HONOR 5th anniversary sale. This bring its price down to RM1599 for the 6GB + 128GB unit, and  RM1999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant. Disclaimer: This article is sponsored by HONOR.
