Despite their differences, one thing remained constant though: all of these new Inspiron series laptops can be obtained with either Intel Core i5-1135G7 or Core i7-1165G7. This is except for the Inspiron 14 5000 2-in-1 which is not available with Core i7 but has the Core i3-1115G4 option instead. On top of the list is the Inspiron 14 7000 which has a price range from RM 5299 to RM 5999. The laptop comes standard with a 14.5-inch IPS display that also has 16:10 aspect ratio, 100% SRGB colour coverage, and a native resolution of 2560 x 1600. It also comes 512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe solid state drive as standard and customers can choose to have the laptop with NVIDIA GeForce MX 350 graphics. For the Core i7 model, they can also choose the 16GB LPDDR4x-4267 RAM option instead of the default 8GB RAM. Next in the list is the Inspiron 13 5000 which is priced between RM 3799 to RM 4599. Equipped with a 13.3-inch Full HD display, this laptop can also be fitted with GeForce MX 350 graphics and up to 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD although the system memory for this model is limited to 8GB LPDD4X-4267 RAM. As odd as this might sound, the subsequent laptops in the family which is the Inspiron 14 5000 and Inspiron 15 5000 are priced much lowered than the Inspiron 13 5000 even though they may feature larger sized Full HD displays at 14 and 15.6-inch, respectively. Specifically, the Inspiron 14 5000 is available for RM 3599 to RM 4499 while the Inspiron 15 5000 can be obtained for RM 3399 to RM 4299. This might have to do with some of the components that Dell has provided for them which include the lower-end GeForce MX 330 graphics and the slower DDR4-3200 RAM module. Except for the Core i7 variant of Inspiron 14 5000, the memory options for these laptops are limited to 8GB. For those who prefer convertibles instead of the traditional clamshell form factor, the 11th Gen Intel Core processors are also available inside the 2-in-1 iteration of Inspiron 13 7000 and Inspiron 14 5000. Priced between RM 4999 to RM 5999, the Inspiron 13 7000 2-in-1 features a 13.3-inch touch display with up to 4K resolution and has also been labelled as an Intel Evo laptop. It also comes standard with a Dell Rechargeable Active Pen (PN771M) which can be charged when it is stored inside the dedicated pen garage on the 2-in-1 laptop. While it is equipped with 512GB PCI NVMe SSD as standard, only the Core i7 variant has 16GB LPDDR4x-4267 RAM while the Core i5 model is limited to 8GB. As for the Inspiron 14 5000 2-in-1, its price tag is much more friendly to the consumer’s wallet which is between RM 3099 and RM 3699. Comes standard with 14-inch Full HD touch display, Dell Malaysia is currently offering a free Dell Active Pen for the laptop which is usually sold as an optional accessory. Regardless of the processor that customers choose for, the Inspiron 14 5000 2-in-1 comes with 256GB PCI NVMe SSD as standard. However, the Core i3 model only has 4GB DDR4-3200 RAM, unlike the Core i5 variant which received the 8GB RAM module. Dell Malaysia is currently offering discounts between RM 200 to RM 700 for these new Inspiron laptops with 11th Gen Intel Core processors on its website, which would then reduce their pricing to as low as RM 2799. It is not known when this offer will expire though, with that said, do head on to the website for more details.
