In order to detect and flag down messages that sound hateful. Additionally, the company also has two enterprise-level products, Sentrop Detect and Sentropy Defend. In light of the acquisition, Sentropy says that it will begin winding down its services for all currently existing customers. Customers under its Detect and Defend lineup will see service continue until 30 September, while consumers subscribed to its Protect service has already been offline since the beginning of this month.

— Sentropy Technologies (@sentropy) July 13, 2021 It should be noted that Discord’s purchase of Sentropy Technologies has raised several eyebrows; the company initially began seeking out anyone who would buy them out at a sum of US$10 billion (~RM42 billion) back in March. Then, in April, it became news that Microsoft was one of several major tech companies seeking to buy out the brand. Unfortunately, the deal never manifested and Discord remains independent as of today. (Source: Sentropy, TechCrunch, Techspot)
