According to the announcement, the first part of the payment which will be done in batches until 12 April covers the B40 households and single individuals that have monthly income of under RM 4,000 and RM 2,000 respectively. Those who are eligible for the financial aid will receive RM 1,000 or RM 500 through the bank account that already inside Internal Revenue Board (LHDN) records whether as a registered taxpayer or under the Bantuan Sara Hidup (BSH) program. The second part of payment will take place from 13 to 15 April and covers the M40 households with monthly income of RM 4,001 to RM 8,000 as well as single individuals that have income of between RM 2,001 and RM 4,000 per month. Similarly, their RM 500 or RM 250 aid will be delivered directly to their bank accounts.

With RM 5.63 billion are heading to bank accounts from today onwards, ATMs throughout the country could be overwhelmed by people especially that the RM 1 interbank withdrawal charge has now been waived for the Movement Control Order (MCO) period.
