According to a product listing on the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) belonging to Gigabyte, the Taiwanese brand lists a total of four models of the RTX 2060. Technically speaking, the cards are listed as GV-N2060OC-12GD, GV-N2060D6-12GD, GV-N2060WF2OC-12GD, and GV-N2060WF2-12GD.
— 188号 (@momomo_us) November 16, 2021 Based on the codename of the last two, we can assume that these cards are part of Gigabyte’s Windforce series, both using a two-fan cooling solution. Also, as you can surmise from the “OC” moniker, one variant of the card is likely to ship out with higher than standard clockspeeds. Rumours of NVIDIA relaunching the RTX 2060 with 12GB GDDR6 graphics memory first cropped up at the start of the year, just a few weeks after the official announcement of its mid-range, Ampere-powered RTX 3060. Further, while little is still known about the rest of the card’s details, it’s been said that one of the reasons behind the resurrection of the GPU is also due, in part, to the ongoing chip shortage. Having said all that, there is still no official confirmation from NVIDIA, so we strongly recommend taking this news with a pinch of salt. (Source: EEC, Videocardz)
