One of whom is Harry Potter author, J.K. Rowling. Rowling has announced a new online platform called “Harry Potter at Home” for witches and wizards of all ages to explore while under quarantine. In a Tweet, Rowling said the following:
What the site is about: “Harry Potter at Home” is where you’ll find all the latest magical treats to keep you occupied – including special contributions from Bloomsbury and Scholastic, nifty magical craft videos (teach your friends how to draw a Niffler!), fun articles, quizzes, puzzles and plenty more for first-time readers, as well as those already familiar with the wizarding world. We’re casting a Banishing Charm on boredom!” Hell yes! As a huge Potterhead myself, this is fantastic news! While I may not be attempting to draw a Niffler as it would most likely end up looking like a 70 year old poop emoji suffering from cancer, I will certainly be checking out some of the reading materials and also doing the quizzes.
