Images of the packed up RTX 3080 Ti appeared among other models, including the RTX 3080, 3090, AMD Radeon RX 580, and even the GT 710, all having been sealed and ready to ship out from China to the US. More specifically, the RTX 3080 Ti was of an MSI make, under the AiB partner’s Ventus 3X OC lineup. The pciture is the first real hard piece of evidence of the RTX 3080 Ti, as it also confirms that the card comes with 12GB GDDR6X memory and dispels (to a degree, at least) earlier reports that the card would come with 20GB GDDR6X memory.
The halfway-house between the RTX 3080 and RTX 3090, the specs of the RTX 3080 Ti are expected to be nearly identical to the RTX 3090. If the rumours are to be believed, we can expect it to ship out with 10240 CUDA cores, along with 328 TMUs, 112 ROPs, a base clock of 1395MHz, and boost clock of 1695MHz.
