Starting with the 64GB storage option, the WiFi model is priced at RM1499, the one with the cellular option pegged at RM2119. As for the 256GB model, sticking with WiFi puts the price at RM2149. Going for the model with mobile data support pushes this up to RM2769.
Compared to the previous generation model that was released last year, prices started at RM1449, and tops out at RM2399. So while there is undoubtedly an increase in price, it’s not that big of a jump. Speaking of which, since the addition of the iPad 9, prices for the previous model have been removed from the official Apple Malaysia website. Though Apple has the prices of the 9th generation iPad for the Malaysian market, the company doesn’t yet have a date for when they will actually be available. Which is a little unfortunate, since in its announcement, the company said that it will be available in 28 countries and regions beginning next week, on 24 September. We’ll let you know when we get more details regarding this. (Source: Apple Malaysia)
