The new earbuds are actually fitness-oriented variants of last year’s Jabra Elite 75t, which now features “a durable coating for dust and sweat resistance” with an IP rating of 57 – an upgrade over the standard version’s rating of IP55. As with the previous year’s model, the Active also features hands-free calling capabilities, as well as voice assistant support. Another similarity is its 7.5 hours battery life on a single charge, and 28 hours extension via its charging case.
The Elite 45h headphones features 40mm speakers, dual microphones for voice calls, Bluetooth 5.0 support, and a “one-touch” shortcut to bring up a preferred voice assistant. Jabra claims that the headphones can last up to 40 hours on a single charge, and a 15-minute charge would allow for 8 hours of listening time. Both the Jabra Elite Active 75t and Elite 45h audio devices will be available in the US in February this year, and are priced at US$199 (~RM816) and US$99 (~RM406) respectively.
