Called JOI Book SK3000, it is the first-ever Qualcomm-powered product to be released under SNS Network’s in-house brand. Powered by the 10nm Snapdragon 850 processor which features Kryo 385 octa-core CPU with a clock speed of up to 2.96GHz, Adreno 630 GPU, and Hexagon 685 DSP, the SK3000 also comes standard with 4G LTE support due to the inclusion of Snapdragon X20 modem.
The fanless laptop which weights at around 1.05kg is also equipped with a 12.5-inch Full HD IPS display, 4GB of RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. Pre-installed with Windows 10 Pro, SNS Network claimed that the 4500mAh battery within the SK3000 is able to deliver up to 10 hours of battery life. Available for pre-order right away through JOI’s official store on Lazada as well as SNS Network’s own GLOO store, the JOI Book SK3000 is priced at RM 2199. The listing on Lazada has also noted that Windows on the Snapdragon laptop is expected to arrive in the hands of customers by early January 2021. In conjunction with the launch, the company is offering a freebie set that consists of a 1-year subscription for Microsoft 365 Personal, a display adapter, a backpack and a box of face mask for the first 200 customers that purchase the new Windows on the Snapdragon laptop.
