This is because Lenovo recently has listed several Legion 2020 products on its Malaysian website. Leading the group is the Legion 7i which features a 15-inch display despite having number “7” in its name.
While the website has yet to list the exact specs for the laptop in Malaysia but its general specs stated the Legion 7i can be fitted with a Full HD 240Hz IPS panel alongside up to Intel Core i9-10980HK processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super graphics, and 32GB DDR4 RAM. It also supports PCIe solid state drive of up to 1TB or the Intel Optane H10 memory drive which contains 1TB SSD and 32GB Optane memory. The next model in the list is another 15-inch model called Legion 5i which features Full HD 240Hz IPS panel with up to Intel Core i7-10875H processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 graphics. This particular gaming laptop also supports up to 1TB PCIe SSD and 1TB 2.5-inch 7200rpm hard drive alongside up to 16GB DDR4-2933 RAM. Lenovo Malaysia’s website has also listed the Legion 5 which can be obtained with up to AMD Ryzen 7 4800H processor. Just like its Intel-based counterpart, this gaming laptop can be obtained with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, 1TB PCIe SSD, 1TB 2.5-inch 7200rpm, and 16GB RAM. While its display panel option is restricted to Full HD 144Hz IPS panel, the Legion 5 able to support slightly faster DDR4-3200 RAM module. Interesting enough Lenovo has included another new 15-inch gaming laptop on the website, but it is not a Legion-branded release though. Based on its graphics specs which maxed up at NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti, the IdeaPad Gaming 3i is likely to be positioned as an entry-level gaming laptop. Nevertheless, the laptop still carries up to 10th Gen Intel Core i7 process, Full HD 144Hz IPS panel, 16GB DDR4-2933, 1TB PCIe SSD, 2TB SATA HDD, and 16GB Optane memory. According to the media invite, Lenovo Malaysia will be launching the new Lenovo Legion 2020 gaming products on 28 May.
