One of the recent examples is the new LG LED Cinema Display which has just made its global debut in Taiwan. At 7 meters high and 14 meters wide, the display was deployed in collaboration with Taiwanese cinema chain, Showtime Cinemas.

With longer lifetime rating than an average projector lamp, the LG LED Cinema Display has DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage and able to support 4K contents. It has also been designed to fully support Dolby Integrated Media Server IMS3000 which in hand allows cinemas to show contents with Dolby Atmos surround sound enhancements. As one of the most well-known names in the display industry, it is not surprising to see LG came out with its own LED display solution for cinemas. Still, LG is kind of late to the game though as compared to Samsung which has launched such display in 2017 and has since been adopted by several cinemas in Malaysia.
