The image seemingly corroborates with leaked renders showcasing the overall design of the Motorola Frontier, which was shared by industry insider Evan Blass last month. However, the render suggests that the phone would instead feature a 194MP camera from an unspecified manufacturer, although it is uncertain whether this is an error on the leakster’s part. Additionally, Blass claims that accompanying the primary shooter is a 50MP ultrawide and a 12MP telephoto. Meanwhile, provided that Fenibook’s live photo is legitimate, the alleged Motorola Frontier would be the first smartphone to feature Samsung’s 200MP sensor – a rumour that another leakster, Ice Universe, has suggested prior to this. As a refresher, the South Korean tech giant first announced its new ISOCELL HP1 sensor in September of last year, which is revealed to feature a pixel size of 0.64μm, a new ChameleonCell pixel-binning technology, and the ability to record 8K videos at 30 fps with minimal loss of details within its field of view. As for the Frontier itself, WinFuture suggests that the purportedly upcoming Motorola flagship will feature an unannounced upgraded version of Qualcomm’s current generation top-tier chipset, known simply as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus. This is paired together with up to 12GB of RAM and a maximum storage capacity of 256GB. Powering the device is a 4,500mAh battery with 125W and 30/50W fast charging capabilities via wired and wireless respectively. Meanwhile, the Frontier’s display is said to be a curved 6.67-inch pOLED panel featuring 144Hz refresh rate and a 60MP selfie camera housed within a top-centred cutout. Typical of any leak, it remains to be seen whether all of the unofficial information surrounding the alleged Motorola Frontier are actually accurate. Adding to that pile is the phone’s expected launch, which is rumoured to be held sometime in July this year. (Sources: Weibo / Evan Blass / WinFuture)
