According to the listing, Meizu is seeking US$100000 (~RM409000) in funds to both fully develop and build the phone. The Chinese brand has listed the asking price of its new minimalist, port-less phone at US$1299 (~RM5314), which is listed as an “Exclusive Engineer Unit”. On a side note, the company also listed a single “Exclusive Pioneer Unit” for US$2999 (~RM12269), but that’s already been sold off. The Meizu Zero is unique in that it is currently the only phone on the market that has no physical ports or gaps in or around it. The entire phone is made from a ceramic, unibody chassis that is completely closed off. In order for it to meet the IP68 standard. Because of the absence of ports, the phone relies on being charged through wireless charging. To that end, the Zero comes with its own 18W Super Wireless mCharger.
