It remains to be seen what sort of device Microsoft will be announcing. The company relatively recently announced the Surface Laptop 4, which was only made available on our shores back in May. But that doesn’t necessarily exclude a possible successor or variant from being announced. Then there’s also the possibility of the more traditional Surface tablets getting unveiled.

The device itself launched with relatively little fanfare, at least compared to its initial announcement. According to Windows Central, the Surface Duo 2 will come with a triple camera setup, and is otherwise mostly similar to he original on the outside. The event itself is slated for 22 September, at 11PM local time. Which lines up quite nicely for the upcoming Windows 11 launch on 5 October. We’ll know for sure what sort of new hardware the company has in store when that happens. (Source: Microsoft, Windows Central)
