The company also says that there are more than 50 games planned for the machine this year. This includes the likes of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs: Legion, among others. Microsoft also boasts that the Xbox Series X will have thousands of games spanning four generations playable via backwards compatibility. And over 100 existing games will be optimised for the machine, allowing them to be shown better on the new console.
The November launch date isn’t exactly surprising. The current generation of consoles also launched in the month of November, seven years ago. And it’s a month that makes sense, since most people will be indoors in December, especially closer to Christmas. So now we have the launch month of the Xbox Series X. But Microsoft still isn’t willing to reveal the exact date, nor the price of the console. And with the latter, the company is likely still in its game of chicken with Sony.
