ZDNet reports that Microsoft plans for Windows 10X to rollout for business- and education-focused devices in spring 2021. And only a year after that, will the Windows 10 variant be ready for dual screen devices. Even then, it looks like Windows 10X will not come with support for running Win32 apps in containers. This feature will only be available in 2020, which may be around the time the OS is ready for dual screen devices.
With Microsoft focusing on the development of Windows 10X, the company may be diverting its resources from elsewhere towards it. As a result, the regular Windows 10 may only get one new feature per year. Since Windows 10X is also being pushed back to 2022 for dual screen devices, this may mean the Microsoft Surface Neo is also getting pushed back to 2022.
