The need to have an answer to the question suddenly became critical to many when a message made its way around the Internet claiming those who do not perform check-out in MySejahtera would be fined RM1,500. The Ministry of Health (MoH) has since squashed this claim through its social media channels yesterday. The answer eventually came this morning when MoH highlighted the check-out feature once again through social media. Within the Facebook and Twitter posts, the ministry said that users will be checked out automatically when they check into another location. Despite what MoH said, our observation yesterday showed that only manual check-outs are listed inside the app’s History log though. Just take a look at these images: Not to forget, you may want to perform the manual check-out on the last location that you checked in before you go back home. On a related note, the v1.0.45 update that implements the new check-out feature into MySejahtera is still not available to Android users at the time this article was published. So, don’t be surprised if it has yet to appear on your Android device and do check out our brief guide on the feature right here for further details. (Source: MoH – Facebook / Twitter.)
