The report also pointed out that one of the models will be more affordable than the other version. Said to be priced lower than the existing model, it will function more like a 3DS than a Switch since it will be missing the vibration feature and the detachable Joy-Cons.

On the flip side, nothing much is known regarding the other version which will be priced much higher than the current Switch console. WSJ sources did reveal that this particular model will come with “enhanced features” that are meant for more serious gamers. WSJ report also pointed out that these new Nintendo Switch variants will be launched at the upcoming E3 in June although market rollout will only take place a few months later. Hence, looks like it going to take some time before we are able to learn more about them. (Source: Wall Street Journal via The Verge)
