Aesthetically, the new 5310 seems to retain a similar shape to its predecessor, now sports a 2.4-inch curved display for the top half. While the keypad has been expanded to fill out the entire bottom half of the phone. The media control keys are also still present on the phone; instead of being put at the edge of the display, they’ve now been repositioned to the side of the phone, which makes more sense in terms of accessibility.

Beneath the hood, the new 5310 is powered by a MediaTek MT6260A CPU, has 8MB RAM, and a 16MB internal storage capacity that is expandable by up to 32GB via microSD card. Powering the phone is a 1200mAh battery, up from the original 860mAh unit used in its predecessor. In terms of audio output, the phone comes equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack, a built-in FM radio, and Bluetooth 3.9 support. Lastly, charging and file transfer is conducted via the built-in micro USB port.

The Nokia 5310 will be available starting from March 2020, and will retail at a global average retail price of 39 Euros (~RM184). At the writing, HMD Global did specify a local availability date.
