The first version of the OnePlus 8T, which comes in an 8GB+128GB memory and storage configuration, will retail at an SRP of RM2699. For fans who want more RAM and storage, the second model has a 12GB+256GB configuration, and that retails at RM2999. Memory and storage capacities notwithstanding, the remaining hardware in the two variants remain the same. This includes a Snapdragon 865 SoC, 6.55-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, as well as the same dual 4500W battery. That supports OnePlus’ WarpCharge 65W charging.
It’s also the same story with the cameras; around the back, the OnePlus 8T boasts a quad-camera system comprising a 48MP Sony IMX 596 main, a 16MP ultra-wide with a 123-degree viewing angle, and a 2MP depth sensor. Around the front, the punch hole selfie camera houses a 16MP sensor. As to when fans and consumers can purchase the OnePlus 8T, the brand says that the phone will first be available on 28 October in an online “Fans First Sale” via its official Lazada store page. Following that, fans can then physically purchase the phone at all authorised resellers and dealer shops from 31 October onwards.
In addition to the phone’s official availability, the brand will also be hosting an 11.11 Pop-up event on 11 November, starting from midnight till 2AM on the day itself. During that time, consumers will have a chance to purchase the OnePlus 8T bundle, comprising a OnePlus 8T 12GB+256GB model, a Quantum Bumper Case, and OnePlus Buds. At a price of RM2999. Do note that OnePlus will only be selling 250 sets of these, and all sales will be on a first come, first served basis.
