To start things off, we have the standard OPPO Reno 3 which features a flat 6.4-inch display with a notch and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1000L 5G SoC, 8GB or 12GB RAM, and 128GB internal storage. Camera-wise, the Reno 3 sports a quad camera setup consisting of a 64MP main sensor, a 8MP ultra-wide angle, a portrait camera, and a black and white sensor. Housed in the notch on its display is a 32MP selfie camera.
The OPPO Reno 3 Pro is equipped with a curved 6.5-inch 90Hz FHD+ display with a punch-hole selfie camera and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, the phone features a Snapdragon 765G 5G SoC, 8GB or 12GB RAM, and internal storage of either 128GB or 256GB. The Pro variant also sports a quad camera setup, but its selection of sensors differs greatly from the standard variant. The Reno 3 Pro’s cameras includes a 48MP main shooter, a 13MP telephoto with 5X optical zoom, 8MP ultra-wide angle, and 2MP depth sensor. Its punch-hole camera also features a 32MP sensor.
Both OPPO Reno 3 variants features a 360-degree antenna for enhanced reception, 5G + WiFi connectivity, stereo Dolby Atmos audio, Ultra Steady 2.0 optical stabilisation, pre-installed Soloop Smart Video Editor, NFC capabilities, and a battery capacity of 4025mAh with 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charging support. Last but not least, both models also includes Android 10 with OPPO’s Color OS 7 out of the box.
The OPPO Reno 3 will be available for purchase in China on 31 December 2019 and is priced at CNY3399 (~RM2006) for the 8GB + 128GB option, and CNY3699 (~RM2185) for the 12GB + 128GB. On the other hand, the OPPO Reno 3 Pro 8GB + 128GB configuration is also available on 31 December and is priced at CNY3999 (~RM2360), while the 12GB + 256GB version is only released on 10 January 2020 and is priced at CNY4499 (~RM2656).
Both phone variants will be available in white, black, blue and purple colours. A limited Pantone Classic Blue edition of the OPPO Reno 3 Pro featuring 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage will also be released on 10 January 2020 and is priced at CNY4199 (~RM2480).
