In general, both Reno2 and Reno2 F share the same general design language with one major difference: their selfie cameras. This is because OPPO has opted for the shark fin style pop up selfie camera for the Reno2 while the Reno2 F carries the more traditional vertical-style pop-up selfie camera although both selfie cameras are equipped with 16MP sensor.

They also come with 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display although the display on Reno2 is brighter at 500 nits as compared to 430 nits on Reno2 F. 8GB of RAM is a standard for both phones but Reno2 still has the advantage when it comes to internal storage since the phone offers 256GB instead of 128GB as per Reno2 F. Another major factor that separates the two models apart is their processor as the Reno2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G while Reno2 F is equipped with MediaTek P70. While both models also feature quad rear camera setup, their choice of sensors and camera types are slightly different from each other:

To complete their main specifications, both Reno2 and Reno2 F also feature a 4000mAh battery that supports OPPO’s own VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 technology. Through this tech, users are able to gain up to 51% of the battery capacity with 30 minutes of charging time. Available starting from 26 October, the new Reno2 can be obtained for RM 2,299 while the Reno2 F is priced at RM 1,599. As a comparison, the original Reno and Reno 10X Zoom Edition were launched in Malaysia for RM 1,999 and RM 3,399 respectively, back in May.

Customers are able to pre-order these new devices until 25 October in which they will receive a Reno bag pack and Screen Protection Warranty that is valid for 1-year. For further information, do head on to OPPO Malaysia’s official Facebook page.
