For those who missed its unveiling a few months ago at WWDC 2019, the Pro Display XDR is said to be the largest Retina Display that Apple has produced. Featuring a 32-inch IPS panel with native resolution of 6016 x 3384, the display also has peak brightness of 1600 nits together with true 10-bit depth and P3 wide colour gamut. Not only that, the back of the Pro Display XDR also has the same lattice design as per the 2019 Mac Pro....

The exact nature of the security issue which is labelled as the CVE-2021-1844 was not revealed by Apple although it has been described as a memory corruption issue that could provide space for a malicious website to run unauthorised codes. Its discovery was credited to Clément Lecigne from Google’s Threat Analysis Group and Alison Huffman of the Microsoft Browser Vulnerability Research team.
