In Europe, Microsoft had arranged a deal with publisher Aerosoft to ship a physical version of Flight Simulator across Europe. The announcement of the 10-disc set was made known by company community manager Mathijs Kok via its forum. “Aerosoft will bring the two boxed versions of this venerable simulator to customers in Europe,” he wrote in the forum post. “Including 10 (!) double-layer DVDs and a printed manual in a spectacular box, it is an ideal way of entering the new age of flight simulation....

Reddit user u/Leopeva64 has shared that this Games panel is only available to some users in the latest version of Edge Canary, where new features get tested. It’s also disabled by default, so it has to be manually turned on via the Games button via the Appearance option in the browser’s settings. When turned on, this adds the Games button on the omnibar, the series of shortcuts next to the web address bar....

In a blog post, the Redmond-based software giant revealed that the hackers went after 3,000 email accounts at over 150 different organisations in at least 24 countries – although the organisations in the US took the brunt of the cyberattacks. At least a quarter of the affected organisations worked on international development, humanitarian, and human rights issues. The hackers apparently began their attacks by obtaining access to the Constant Contact account of USAID, the US government agency responsible for foreign aid and developmental assistance....

There are three variants when it comes to the print you find on them. One features the series’ mascot Rathalos, another features a Felyne print, and a third featuring the Monster Hunter crest in the game’s distinct art style. They also come with an SD card adapter with matching prints. Special prints aside, these microSD cards are all identical since they are all 16GB Class-10 cards. The FCC listing essentially shows the phone from every viewable angle leaving little surprises left where external features are concerned. Shots from the front finally confirm the earlier leak that the Motorola Razr will indeed feature a foldable display. New shots showing the bottom of the phone also reveals that the Razr will come with a USB-C charging port. All that said, there are a number of oddities to note....

When it was announced back on 11 January, the implementation was supposed to end on 26 January. The controversy first popped up on Reddit, where the subsidiary, Starlit Partner, was outed and accused of selling MSI’s RTX 3080 graphics cards on eBay. Even worse, Starlit Partner was reportedly selling said GPUs at nearly double the SRP of the RTX 3080 at US$1359 (~RM5643). For the record, the GeForce RTX 3080 starts from US$699 or RM3360, and any increments to that base price is left to the discretion of NVIDIA’s AiB partners....

It says that the only data collected from the feature are the unique user ID created by the app, your phone’s operating system, the time of encounter, and the Relative Signal Strength Indicator. Interestingly, iOS users only need to turn on Bluetooth while Android users will have to enable both Bluetooth and location permission. The app claims that your device’s battery life won’t be greatly affected as it uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to periodically transmit information instead of being continuously used....

However, the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) has since provided additional information regarding the new policy. According to the statement released by the ministry yesterday, customers can only stay in retail stores or shopping malls for a maximum duration of two hours once the new directive is put in place tomorrow. So, who will be responsible for monitoring this time limit? Based on another document that was released earlier today, the responsibility falls on the retail store and shopping mall operators themselves....

In a statement to VentureBeat, a spokesperson to the streaming company said that new users will not be able to pay for their subscriptions via iTunes. This also applies to those who stopped their subscription at some point, but decided to return to the service. Existing users who still have their subscriptions active will still have the option to pay via iTunes. While the company did not disclose when this came into effect, a support representative shared that this change was incorporated late last month....

For one thing, this ad-free tier is only available on the Android app, and the selection available to these free users is extremely limited — at only one-fourth the content library available to paying subscribers. Now that the iPad Pro is bezel-less, it works a lot like the new iPhones X, XS, XS Max, and XR. Without the Home button, gestures is the key to accessing everything. That also means Face ID for unlocking the device. Being bezel-less also means that the tablets have a smaller form factor. The smaller one has the same size as the old 10.5-inch iPad Pro, but the display itself measures in at 11-inches....

Previously, serial leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks) shared that the new phones for 2019 will come with a “punch hole” for the front-facing camera. This is similar to the Infinity-O display revealed during the Samsung Developer Conference. Conveniently enough, the designs seen in the new patent filing reflect this. The patent also shows multiple design of the phone itself in addition to the Inifinity-O implementation. Some have have rounded edges, while others bring the curved edge on the side of current generation phones to the top and bottom as well....

The new SD 8.0 specification makes use of PCIe 4.0 and NVMe specifications, which contribute to such speeds. This is compared to the current SD 7.0 specification, which makes use of the PCIe 3.1 interface. On SD cards using the new specification, you’ll see a new row of pins for a second PCIe 4 lane. This is what helps it gets its new transfer speeds. When cards with the new standard rolls out, it will be available to all capacity ranges, from SDHC to SDXC, all the way to SDUC....

The Nokia 2.3 sports a 6.2-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch, a MediaTek Helio A22 chipset, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, expandable by 512GB via microSD. The phone runs Android 9 Pie, and comes with a 4000mAh battery, which is quite large for a phone like this. On the back, it comes with a 13MP + 2MP dual camera setup. According to German tech site Allround-PC, a European dealer has informed them of the alleged launch date and expected pricing for the phone (1). It is suggested that the device will debut in the region on 21 July 2022, which seemingly corroborates with Nothing CEO Carl Pei’s promised summer launch window. It is not known whether the date mentioned is meant for the global launch or specifically for Europe. Most exciting of all is the alleged pricing for the phone (1), which is suggested to retail at around EUR 500 (~RM 2,348)....

Unlike the Nothing ear (1) and the more recent Ear (stick), the Particles by XO earbuds do away with the transparent design language and instead opts for simple shiny white. The earbuds are oddly shaped like peanuts, which wouldn’t be the most jarring design choice coming from Nothing, but it is certainly a departure from what its fans have been familiar with so far. With the unique shape, it’s not exactly clear whether the body should point upwards or downwards towards the mouth when being worn....
