One of NVIDIA’s reasons for delaying the card’s launch is because – rather than have a repeat performance with the availability of its RTX 3080 – it wants to ensure that there are more RTX 3070 cards available for consumers at launch. News of the delay is undoubtedly a bitter pill to swallow, but at least the card will be launching within the month. At the same time, many consumers and gamers are hoping that NVIDIA will have some precautionary measures and protections against bots in place; many gamers were unable to purchase the RTX 3080 at launch, primarily because bots unscrupulous resellers had snatched up the cards en masse....

The first title included in next month’s free PlayStation Plus games is arcade racer Hot Wheels Unleashed, which is based on the popular miniature vehicle models by American toy company Mattel. Originally released in September of last year, the game lets you collect, build and race miniature cars, as well as create your own race tracks which can be played locally or shared online for other players to try. Hot Wheels Unleashed can be played solo, two-player split screen, or up to 12 players via online multiplayer....

The news, which was first reported on the site Mr Gizmo, shows images of the phone sporting the new lustrous colour. It joins the OnePlus 6T’s other two colour options – Midnight Black and Mirror Black. So far though, Thunder Purple was reportedly being listed on the OnePlus India official page. The OPPO A76 features a 6.56-inch HD+ display with 720 x 1612 pixel resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, a tiny camera cutout on the upper left corner, and a screen-to-body ratio of 89.9%. The OPPO Reno3 Pro model, based on the image provided by OPPO Malaysia, is likely based on the global edition of the phone instead of the Chinese release. The device features a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a pill shaped punch-hole cutout, as well as featuring an in-display fingerprint sensor. Hardware-wise, the handset is packed with a Snapdragon 765G chipset, up to 12GB RAM, and up to 256GB internal storage. It is equipped with a 4,025mAh battery with 30W VOOC 4....

Deadline reports that Oscar Isaac will be playing Solid Snake in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid movie. The movie in its entirety is being handled by Sony Pictures, with Jordan Vogt-Roberts in the director’s seat. But beyond the single character getting cast, there’s no word on when the film will begin proper production. Good news for the film has been a long time coming, really. Publisher Atlus made the announcement on Twitter. While the post itself only mentions Xbox platforms and PC, both Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden will also be on PS4 and the Nintendo Switch. For PC specifically, P3P will be coming to Steam alongside the other platforms. P4G, on the other hand, has been around on the digital store since 2020. As for lucky PS5 owners, these games will be playable, but as a backwards-compatible title....

The Story Pins feature will allow users to post their photos and videos vertically with overlaid text and voice-over narration. Pinterest’s version of stories is an exact representation of how it works on Instagram. However, the difference here is Story Pins will not expire after 24 hours, allowing videos to last longer and gain more recognition from other Pinterest users at the same time. The existing PlayStation Plus subscription service will be renamed PlayStation Plus Essential although no changes will be made to it. This means subscribers will continue to receive two downloadable games per month, discounts, cloud storage for saved games, and online multiplayer. Not only that, the PlayStation Plus Essential plan for Malaysia will continue to have the same price tag as per existing PlayStation Plus pricing. It starts at RM29 per month while there is also the option for a 3-month subscription at RM69 and RM159 for an annual subscription....

In a statement, PLUS has said that it is planning to redeploy 19 SmartTAG lanes across 16 toll plazas by 25 January. An additional 24 SmartTAG lanes will also be reopened at 18 other toll plazas on 19 February. At the same time, the company has also noted that its customer service assistants are already on the ground with portable detection devices at all 158 RFID lanes in 74 toll plazas to help out any users that got stuck at those lanes....

It also comes with a tri-camera on its back that includes a 40MP wide-angle f/1....

PC Gamer reports that both Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light Redux have had their pages on Steam heavily review-bombed since the Metro Exodus timed exclusive announcement. They both now show “mostly negative” recent reviews, but their overall review ratings are still “very positive.” They are also very straightforward about it. At the very top, the review bombs state that the respective games are good games, but that the review bomb was a response to the Epic Games Store timed exclusivity of Metro Exodus....

But with that, let’s take a look at some of the more impressive ones of them all. One of them is Pragmata, a Capcom title that’s scheduled to be released in 2022. It’s the game that’s the furthest from release, and is actually still in development. But if there’s any trailer that makes you excited for what the complete product could be, this is it.
