The magazine pointed out that at least six Milo products feature the QR code. As opposed to the codes on Maggi products, the QR code on Milo products that we have checked so far didn’t lead users to a website with malicious contents though (for now)....

Qualcomm completed its acquisition of Nuvia back in March this year, after it purchased the CPU and technology design company for around US$1.4 billion (~RM5.83 billion). According to the invite from Razer, the company will be officially unveiling Razer Phone 2 in Malaysia on 15 January 2019. The Realme 3 retains a handful of design cues from its predecessor. Twisted Voxel reports that Capcom Europe has sent out a notice regarding this phishing scam. As before, the email comes from an official-looking email from the company. Capcom warns that it did not actually send out such emails, and that you shouldn’t download any files or reply to them. You should also delete the email to be safe. The report also mentions that Capcom did indeed have a number of prior private beta tests for Resident Evil Village....

According to both companies, GatorCheats and Santos earn their profit by charging users with subscription-based fees for using its cheating services. Specifically; $90USD a month, $250 for three months, or $500 USD for lifetime access. The software is said to be distributed via the developer’s website, email, and even private messaging platforms such as Telegram and Discord. Riot and Bungie explains that the cheating software provide its users abilities such as accurate auto-aiming, hacks that reveal other player locations in a map or level, and many other underhanded and unfair features....

According to Riot Games, the developer of the two aforementioned titles, the new launcher is aimed to unify all of its in-house games under a single platform and enable players to access them under a single sign-in. In addition, existing desktop shortcuts to titles such as LoL and Valorant will still work even after the rollout of its platform. However, it was not mentioned if accessing these shortcuts would directly launch their respective games, or redirect users to the new Riot Games Launcher....

Thanks to a new list of job openings at Cupertino, Apple is looking to reduce its reliance on external vendors for radios and modems. The job listings are looking for personnel familiar in LTE, Bluetooth, next generation connectivity (5G) and millimeter wave tech. At this point, Apple still relies on Intel to supply its modems – albeit grudgingly – for devices such as the iPhone and its new MacBooks. This includes both WiFi and LTE radio receivers....

Dynamic Color uses AI to customise and determine your phone’s colour palette based on your chosen wallpaper. The generated accent is applied to various parts of the OS, including the settings, lockscreen, and other nooks and crannies. Samsung’s Android 12 beta programme requires opting in through the Samsung Members app, and is currently only available for the Galaxy S21 series. To try this out, make sure you have the latest beta and then click on “Color Theme” in the “Wallpaper” settings....
