Via a statement on its own website, Rockstar said that it will continue to address the technical issues going forward. In the meantime the publisher will be reinstating the original versions of GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas back to the Rockstar launcher on PC. Which is nice, but it’s difficult to see this as anything but the publisher removing the bullet it shot into its own foot. Chances are the backlash to the buggy GTA Trilogy Remaster wouldn’t be so massive if it didn’t remove them in the first place....
