This resolution is up from the 2880 x 1080 display found on Apple’s current 15-inch MacBook Pro. Further, the targeted manufacturing date for the 16-inch MacBook Pro is reportedly set for September 2019 with a production rate of 250000. More importantly, the display panel will be LCD instead of OLED, and manufactured by LG. Beyond that, sources don’t indicate what sort of hardware the 16-inch MacBook Pro will be rocking....

The highlight of the range are the Acer Enduro N7 and N3 laptops, both coming with 14-inch Full HD displays. The former is the bulkier one of the two, with an IP65 rating, and a weight of 2.85kg. It comes with an Intel Core i5-8250U processor, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of SATA SSD storage. It also comes with a battery life rated at 10.5 hours. The Acer Enduro N3 is less bulky, with an IP53 rating....

Except for the choice of processors, the new variant is almost similar to the one released back in March. Standard specs include 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display with a 144Hz refresh rate alongside NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics, and a 512GB solid state drive. While the 2021 Nitro 5 can generally support up to 32GB RAM, the amount of memory provided to customers depends on the processor that they choose....

Calling the sale record-breaking, the carrier said it was the highest number of seats sold daily since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the AirAsia, the half a million figure within just two days can be broken down to almost a whopping 200 seats being snapped up every minute. The promotion is ongoing until 25 September, and is available via both AirAsia’s app and website. Domestic destinations include Langkawi, Penang, and Kota Kinabalu — although keep in mind that you can only get free seats to Kota Kinabalu if you’re travelling from Kuching....

Starting from 8 March, domestic flights will have a surcharge of RM10 while international flights will cost an extra RM25 to RM60 depending on the duration. It will only be imposed on new bookings from 8 March onwards, so existing bookings will not be affected. AirAsia says that this is the first time it is charging fuel surcharges since 2015, and the company says that it hopes the measure is only temporary....

However, this does not mean that AirAsia will fly to all of its domestic destinations immediately. The airlines stated that it will resume the operations starting with key domestic routers first before gradually expanding the availability further depending on how the government eases up travel restrictions. Nevertheless, bookings are already open right now through AirAsia’s official website. For starters, AAX said that the flight from Kuala Lumpur to Sydney will take place every Monday at 7:25 PM. On another hand, the return flight to Kuala Lumpur will depart Sydney the following day at 8:30 AM. This particular schedule covers the period from 14 February to 22 March while AAX will also announce another set of schedules for the autumn/winter session later this month. However, the airline noted that the flights to Sydney are currently being prioritised for customers that are using their Credit Accounts to book the journey....

The rumour stems from an article published on German-based tech site, iGor’s Lab. According to the article, NVIDIA supposedly has three Ampere-based graphics card in the pipeline, with one of them being a top-tier RTX 3090. All three GPUs will supposedly feature a GA102 GPU, but what is even more intriguing is that the card could ship out either as a Ti or Super variant. More importantly, iGor’s Lab seems to have reason to believe that the RTX 3090 may end up shipping out with a heart-stopping 24GB of GDDR6X memory, a 384-bit memory bus, as well as a 350W TDP power envelope to keep it chugging on a system....

Again, like its mainstream siblings, both the Ryzen Pro 3000 and Athlon Pro 3000 series’ are based on AMD’s 12nm die lithography. In terms of performance for the Ryzen Pro 3000 series, the brand says that its new mobile CPUs under the lineup are capable of delivering up to 12 hours of general office and 10 hours of video playback. The information was confirmed via a slide presented during an annual shareholder meeting by AMD. In the slide, the semiconductor company’s 3rd generation Ryzen CPU is listed side by side with the Navi GPU. Interestingly, the slide visibly references an AMD “Radeon VII+ Navi” graphics card; a direct, if not blatant hint that the company will be refreshing its current high-end graphics card. To recap, AMD surprised the PC world when it announced the Radeon VII during CES 2019....

To be specific, the two products won’t be making their appearance side by side, but rather on two separate dates. 9to5Google managed to enable Fast Share on Android Q with its Google Pixel 3 XL. And from the screenshots shared, they work in a pretty similar way as well – enabling it makes your device visible to others, that can then send files, or even text to you. The underlying tech that makes Fast Share possible is actually a combination of Bluetooth and WiFi, like iOS’ AirDrop. You can also set a list of devices under “Preferred Visibility” which allows them to send files to you even when you have Fast Share turned off....

Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney tweeted that last week, he sent an email to Apple asking for Fortnite to be put back on the App Store. And more recently, he received a reply that basically meant that Fortnite won’t be allowed back in until the end of all legal proceedings. Which could mean up to five more years out of the App Store while the appeals process is ongoing....

For those who aren’t familiar with Find My, the feature allows users to locate their missing devices through the dedicated app on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. It still can function even though the missing devices are not connected to the Internet. Find My utilises secure Bluetooth transmission and the collective network of Apple devices throughout the world. Apple stated that the tech utilises end-to-end encryption and is also anonymous in nature which means it can’t be used to identify an individual user not only by third-party companies but even by Apple itself....

Specifically, the 13.4.1 update for iOS fixes and issue with FaceTime where devices running on iOS 13.4 were unable to participate in FaceTime calls with devices running on an older version of iOS or OS X. iOS 9.3.6 and OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 or earlier, to be precise. The fix also fixes a bug pertaining to Bluetooth activation, where doing so from within OS’ quick actions menu would fail to activate it....
