Health Director-General Dr Noor Hisham said that the additional dose, which will be given to frontliners, the elderly, and the immunocompromised, will start being administered this month, starting in Sarawak. It’s not yet known when the booster jabs will be offered to qualifying adults that are not in the high-risk groups. Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin clarified this week that the booster shots are not compulsory for groups who are offered them....

According to MoH, between the time the programme launched on 3 February up to 12 April, only 38.6% of eligible children have taken the first dose of the vaccine, with 195,865 receiving both doses. In the last seven days, the programme has only administered an average of 4,500 first doses daily. This is in stark contrast to how many of the vaccines the government procured for the PICKids programme, as they had prepared enough doses for 80% of children in that age group....

According to today’s announcement, PLUS has apparently been working to sync up the RFID system with Touch ‘n Go for the past 36 months. As you might know, TNG RFID tag is already out of trial phase and it is now being sold for RM 35 each since the middle of last month. From the new 10-or-so minutes of extended gameplay, Redfall is looking more like Arkane’s Dishonored than it is a horde survival shooter like Left 4 Dead. The first sign of Village’s hefty size was spotted via a listing on the game’s official Microsoft store page. However, we should make clear that number is inclusive of Village’s single-player campaign and multiplayer mode, Re:Verse. As for the PS5, a tweet by PlayStation Game Size (@PlaystationSize) said that the PS5 version of the game would only take up 27.325GB, which is considerably less. Mind you, that number could simply be what the PS5 can download when the console is allowed to preload the game on 5 May; alone, the single-player portion of the game is expected to be approximately 35GB, while the multiplayer segment of the game is rated at just 15GB....

And it’s none other than Rise of the Tomb Raider. The second game in the Tomb Raider reboot trilogy, It’s easily the one with the highest replay value of the three. Based on the information at Samsung Malaysia’s website, it seems that Samsung will be bringing over two 8K models in the form of Q950TS and Q800T to our market. According to the multiple reports, the new memory module will follow the current DDR5 specifications standards; the modules will run at the lower 1.1V, along with JEDEC DDR5-7200 CL timings. That said, it should be pointed out that even JEDEC itself has not announced any timing for the memory modules, at least officially anyway. At most, the body has only released such information for DDR5-6400 modules. Moving on, Samsung’s presentation also showed that the new DDR5-7200 module will be the first memory module to use the Same-Bank refresh (SBR) technology that is designed to increase the efficiency of the DRAM bus connectivity by approximately 10%....
