The timing of the invite seemed rather apt as Xiaomi has just teased a brand-new Redmi model for Malaysia last week. The image in the teaser showed the rear camera module of the phone which has led us to believe that we may be looking at Redmi 9 Power which the company has just announced for India recently. However, there were already rumours within the pipeline that the phone would be called Redmi 9T in selected markets especially after its appearance on the database of Thailand’s communication authority....

As for the Redmi Note 9 which is powered by MediaTek Helio G85 processor, the phone is priced at RM 749 for the 4GB/128GB variant while there’s also 3GB/64GB option that goes for RM 649....

However, it is not the newly announced Mi 11 though. Instead, the new device will be from the Redmi family as shown by this teaser-giveaway post that Xiaomi Malaysia published on its Facebook page earlier today: As you may have noticed, Xiaomi has masked the name of the phone in the post above but based on the image itself, we believe that the phone is likely the new Redmi 9 Power that the company has just launched in India....

As per MCMC’s instructions, the free daily 1GB of mobile data will be provided by the telco, starting today until the end of the MCO period, 14 April. Unlike U Mobile, though, it doesn’t look like Yoodo is implementing any sort of restrictions over when said free data can be accessed. Instead, the telco says that the free data will be accessible at anytime of the day. As you well know, the free 1GB daily mobile data is part of the PRIHATIN economic stimulus package that PM Muhyiddin Yasin announced last week during his televised speech....

The additions were revealed by Instagram head Adam Mosseri via his usual video announcements on Twitter. According to a report from Bloomberg, YouTube has already begun prompting certain content creators to tag and track products featured in their video clips. Google will then use the product data to build its analytics and shopping tools which will allow people to buy the aforementioned product in a particular video on YouTube. The decision to allow e-commerce and selling transactions via YouTube is based on the company’s current integration test with Shopify....

Naturally, all of these experimental features could soon be brought in to the regular version of YouTube in the near future if the company chooses to do so. For now, among the experimental features that are offered include Watch On Home, Voice Search On Web, and Filter by Topic. The Watch On Home Screen offer users the ability to seek videos without leaving their Home screen. As for the Voice Search On Web feature, users will be able to search for videos by using voice commands....
