Previously in April, the AirAsia permitted only one piece of baggage not more than 5kg, but was later revised to 7kg after receiving public backlash for the decision. It explained that this was to minimise unwanted contact between a passenger and another’s baggage and vice versa, while also maintaining social distancing especially during embarkation and disembarkation. With the current update, passengers will be able to carry one cabin bag not exceeding the dimensions of 56cm (H) x 36cm (W) x 23cm (D) and must fit in the overhead storage compartment in the aircraft....

First up, the T-Rex 2 sports a slightly bigger 1.39-inch AMOLED display with an always-on feature and 1,000 nit peak brightness. The small nugget of information about RDNA3 – again, we cannot stress just how minor the details were – GPU architecture was basically Lisa Su, CEO of AMD, giving a small update about the progress the Radeon division has made. One breakthrough that Dr. Su was happy to share with us was its performance threshold and design. Design-wise, the RDA3 GPU will be using AMD’s new chiplet design. Dr. Su also said that, by comparison to the current RDNA2 architecture, fans and consumers could look forward to as much as a 50% increase in graphical performance over the last generation....

Like the current non-HEDT Ryzen CPU lineup, the Threadripper PRO 5000 WX Series CPUs are based on AMD’s 7nm Zen3 architecture, meaning that they also benefit from an increase in base and boost frequencies. More importantly, because it is based on the Zen3 architecture, that also means that these processors are now PCIe 4.0 ready. In terms of SKUs, the lineup comprises five CPU models: the 5945WX, 5955WX, 5965WX, 5975WX, and the 5995WX....

To kick off its newly acquired membership, AMD also announced that it is partnering up with blockchain technology provider, Robot Cache, and will be helping it launch its online gaming marketplace, ULTRA, in June 2020. Interesting enough, it was only two years ago that Apple has just hit the USD 1 trillion market cap’s mark. Furthermore, the company managed to achieve this at a time where many companies throughout the world have been affected heavily by the global outbreak of COVID-19. The timing of the USD 2 trillion market valuation is quite apt as well since the next-generation iPhone lineup is expected to be revealed very soon....

South Korean news outlet The Elec reports that Apple will be moving Face ID under the screen for iPhone 16 Pro models of 2024. And it is very specifically only the Face ID tech, as the normal front-facing camera will still be sitting in a cutout in the screen. Of course, the new features will have certain limitations to prevent people from abusing them. One of the modifications that Apple has made with the latest beta is reducing the time limit for unsending messages, tightening the limits even further. Initially, the tech giant set the limit for unsending messages to 15 minutes when it was first announced. Now, Apple is giving users only two minutes after messages are sent to undo it....

The sources added that demand for silicon across a range of products and supply-chain disruptions from the current pandemic are main causes of the shortage. According to Bloomberg, main Apple chipmaker TSMC noted in October that 5G smartphones require 30% to 40% more chip content versus 4G, causing its customers to cache components for the fear of running out. In addition to this, Chinese smartphone maker Huawei is said to have stocked up massively ahead of a September deadline for US sanctions, which also impacted the supply chain....

Still focusing on the redesigned Apple TV, Bloomberg says that Apple’s upcoming home entertainment box would have integrated speakers, along with a camera for FaceTime. At this point, it doesn’t appear that the streaming box will have a display attached to it, meaning that users are probably going to have to connect it to a TV. Getting back to the HomePod and iPad hybrid, the product will also be fitted with a robotic arm, enabling the attached iPad to track your movements around a room and theoretically giving whoever is on the video call line in sight of you....
