The minister stated that the RM 20 rebate is meant to assist and encourage Selangor citizens especially for senior citizens to obtain their vaccine. He also said that the rebate will be made available to 50,000 individuals throughout the state although the exact terms and conditions for the rebate was not revealed during the announcement. Nevertheless, he also pointed out that RM 1 million has been set aside for the Grab ride’s rebate which will be rolled out starting from 1 July 2021 onwards....

The Korea Fair Trade Commission said that Google’s anti-fragmentation agreements (AFA) with phone makers prevents them from developing or using modified versions of Android. In addition to the fine, the commission also banned Google from making manufacturers sign new AFA contracts, and making it modify existing ones. These moves are reportedly intended to spur competition by letting companies create more forks of Android. This then would allow each brand to modify the mobile OS to “target different device classes or use cases” without Google retaliating....

For context, the Brazilian Supreme Court had issues with Telegram being used for spreading disinformation.
