In terms of the internal hardware powering the 85-inch digital whiteboard, Microsoft was not clear on the issue. That said, if the new display is merely just a literal bump up in size, it’s possible that the machine is housing near identical specs with its 50-inch sibling....
To provide some context, back in April 2020, some consumers filed a lawsuit against Microsoft, alleging that their Xbox controllers were flawed; the controllers were incorrectly registering movements due to wear and tear. While such issues with gamepads aren’t uncommon, the Xbox controller’s issue gained prominence after a large number of Xbox owners – all with the same drifting issue – began complaining about it. According to VGC, Microsoft argued that entities involved in the lawsuit had agreed to settle their dispute about the controller’s issue via arbitration, something they agreed to the company’s boilerplate Services Agreement when they signed into their Xbox Live accounts or simply purchasing their controllers....
Via the Microsoft 365 Status Twitter account, the company says that it has “received reports of users being unable to access Microsoft Teams or leverage any features”. The company did not disclose the number of users affected, but according to outage tracking website Downdetector, over 4800 users have reported having issues accessing the service as recently as 10AM. Perhaps tangentially related is the fact that Office 365 also had its service disrupted for over 200 users at around the same time....

Apple’s App Store is known to have a myriad of strict rules including not allowing third-party apps from becoming a game hub. Gurman claims that Netflix Games is getting around this rule by doing exactly that, which is to publish each game on the App Store and have users download them individually. If this is true, then it would mean that iOS users could only launch the games from the Netflix app, but not playable within the app itself....
For the uninitiated, spatial audio is designed to provide an immersive, three-dimensional surround sound experience. Unlike traditional home theatre setups, this technology is supported by specialised devices – including from the likes of soundbars and, most commonly, personal audio gear such as earbuds and headphones. Netflix says you aren’t required to own specialised equipment in order to enjoy the new feature, as it claims that Sennheiser’s AMBEO tech is able to provide spatial audio via any 2-channel stereo hardware....
To get into the specifics, the new update will increase the maximum bitrate of 5.1 audio to 640Kbps, while a Dolby Atmos-supported show will increase to 768Kbps. For Netflix subscribers streaming over less than optimal internet speeds, the bitrate quality will drop to as low as 192Kbps. So as not to hinder the video’s buffer time. The good news is that 192Kbps is the floor cap, meaning that the audio quality will never deteriorate further than that....
