Sony has officially announced the local pricing for its newest flagship, the Sony Xperia 1 IV. The phone was revealed last month with some impressive camera specs and the price tag to boot, with pre-orders now open to Malaysians. The flagship is priced at RM6099, which sounds like a tough pill to swallow until you realise that that is over RM900 cheaper than the price tag in the US, which is sold for US$1599....

Naturally, the new Xperia sports the series’ signature tall form factor with a wide aspect ratio. While there was no official announcement, this came via an official response to a Spotify community forum user. In a thread that states that Car View is no longer showing up in the app’s Settings menu, a forum moderator confirms that the company is retiring the feature. There’s no concrete reason as to why the feature is being put to bed. On the surface, Car View in Spotify is a great feature....
There are a couple of catches, though. First, the new mode is seemingly only available to creators in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland. Second, you’ll need to be a Spotify Premium subscriber in order to access the service. By doing this, Spotify is hoping to allow its subscribers to listen to an entire music track, instead of being limited to a brief sample of it due to copyright issues....
Everything seemed to be going well until now. Collider reports that the Obi-Wan series has been put on hold indefinitely and the crew that had assembled at Pinewood Studios, London, was sent home packing. Apparently, Lucasfilm president (and Obi-Wan producer) Kathleen Kennedy was unhappy with the screenplays and wants them to be reworked before hopefully reassembling in the summer of 2020. I’m already starting to see things like “fire Kathleen Kennedy” posted in Star Wars fan groups, which I think is unfair and uncalled for....
However, now that the House of Mouse owns Star Wars and have launched their streaming platform Disney+, the show has been resuscitated. This February will see the release of the 7th and final season of Clone Wars drop on Disney’s streaming platform, which is still sadly unavailable in Malaysia. The final episode of the Skywalker Saga has received incredibly mixed reviews. The film currently has a 57% rotten score (with an average rating of 6.23/10) on the popular aggregator site, Rotten Tomatoes. The audiences generally seem to like it though, as the film has a 86% audience score on RT, a huge leap from The Last Jedi‘s 91%. However, when we look at Cinemascore (a site that measures the audience’s appeal of a movie by polling movie audiences in the US on opening night), The Rise of Skywalker (B+) has not only the lowest score of this sequel trilogy — The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi, scored As respectively — but of the entire Star Wars saga....

The first of the three characters coming to Streets of Rage 4 has been revealed to be Estel Aguirre.
