The new LTM is called Wick’s Bounty, and the goal of the game mode is to stay alive long enough, while you collect gold tokens – much like the gold coin used in the John Wick franchise – by eliminating bounty hunters within the game. Of course, like all special events and LTM games, there is understandably a catch to this game mode. If you happen to be one of the top three token leaders in-game, the game mode automatically “places a bounty” on your head....

A large number of gamers who pre-ordered FF7 have gotten their games in the wrong language. Usually, the language of a game is clearly labeled at the end of its name. This appears to not be the case with the FF7 pre-orders. The game was also, as you’d expect, easily accessible from the PlayStation Store, being highlighted on the What’s Hot section. As a result, many gamers who were eager to play the English / Japanese version of the game ended up getting the Chinese / Korean version of it instead....

The biggest game that’s on PC Game Pass, arguably, is Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon Wildlands. It’s the earliest in the list to be added to the library this month, being already available to subscribers. This may not sound like a big deal, as most of us have moved on from using traditional SMS messaging. However, it is still an approach that businesses are relying on for sending important messages such as one-time passwords and account alerts. These SMS messages are usually sent from a random number or from those not identifiable from known telcos, although companies will always identify themselves first in the message itself....

Instead of having all the data bound to terrestrial servers, Google has decided that its cloud service needs to be in the sky, like the real thing. It will even come with a boost in performance when the cloud happens to get turned into a storm cloud, something that’s usually the opposite of what happens during a rainstorm. The tech behind it is not properly explained. All we get are lines like “groundbreaking scientific research” and “technological breakthroughs”....

Korean news outlet ETNews reports that Samsung Display is planning to sell its UTG to other phone makers to “strengthen its foldable display business”. One such company is the internet search giant Google, which will also be taking Samsung’s foldable OLED panels. The report also mentions that the company’s display business can then bundle UTG with its foldable panels when selling them to other brands. But beyond that, there isn’t much mention on the Google device itself....

The removal seems to apply to not just AnTuTu, but also related apps. Including AnTuTu 3DBench and AlTuTu Benchmark. While it isn’t directly pointed out, a part of the app’s description (before it was taken down) points to AnTuTu and its accompanying benchmarks being made and owned by Cheetah Mobile. For context, Cheetah Mobile was one of two China-based app developers – the other one was called Kika Tech – accused of engaging in fraudulent advertising practices....

Some of these new features include the ability to customise non-Google apps to fit your phone’s wallpaper themes and colours. In the same vein, Android 13 also comes with an updated media player that “tailors its look and feel based on the music or podcast you’re listening to”. Which sounds more impressive than it really is, but it at least livens up an otherwise static element of the operating system....

The new colour is the sixth option for iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini which were previously available in Starlight, Midnight, Blue, Pink, and (PRODUCT)RED at launch. The removal of the power adapter and EarPods not only applies to the newly launched iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro series though. Existing models that are still part of the iPhone’s 2020 line-up including iPhone 11, iPhone XR, and 2nd generation iPhone SE will not be accompanied by power adapters and EarPods as well. Instead, only the USB-C to Lightning cable will be provided to users. This may not be a big issue if you are already using an iPhone or iPad as you may utilise your existing Lightning charger and the same goes for users whom already own a USB Type-C charger....

To achieve this, it’s recommended that you should create a PIN code first. Access your Netflix account from a web browser, select “Parental Controls” option, and then create a four digit PIN code. This code is required to access maturity level customisation on every profile under your account, thus preventing your child from making any of these changes to their profile. Once you’ve set up the parental control PIN code, you can now proceed to create a kid-friendly or maturity restricted profile for your child....

As far as emotional weight goes, Hobbs & Shaw is as dry as the post-apocalyptic wasteland of Mad Max: Fury Road. It doesn’t help that Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw just can’t stop cracking jokes, even if they’re right smack in the middle of a life and death situation. If they don’t care that they’re in danger, why should we? Even Captain America exhibits physical and mental vulnerabilities. So, needless to say, I’m not that excited to watch a sequel....

Confirmation of GMS’ return to the brand’s upcoming device was done via Twitter, through the brand’s official German account. The tweet is no longer available, but as per Android Authority, it came as a reply to one user’s query. In addition to GMS, HONOR Germany also confirmed that the phone will retain Magic UI, which is technically an off-shoot of Huawei’s own EMUI. As a quick primer, news about Huawei potentially selling off HONOR first cropped up in November last year....

HONOR was more than kind enough to provide us with a unit of the Magic4 Pro and with that, I took it for a spin to see if the self-hype about it is really to be believed. So, let’s kick this off by talking about the internal specifications of the Magic 4 Pro. As per HONOR’s announcement, the phone is equipped with Qualcomm’s latest flagship SoC, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, and this will be standard across the board....

Aside from providing the said image, the leakster suggests that the new HONOR smartphone is expected to see a reveal sometime soon. But while the Infinity Saga has come to a close, the Marvel Cinematic Universe still has a long road ahead of it. There are a bunch of MCU films in various stages of production and development (Black Panther 2, The Eternals, Shang Chi, etc.), but none are more important than Spider-Man: Far From Home which will be gracing the big screen in less than a month’s time. After all, Feige has said that the final chapter of MCU phase three isn’t Endgame but the much awaited Spidey sequel....
