For context, it has recently been reported that e-hailing services have increased ride fare prices up to 400% during peak hours, which triggered discontent amongst users. They also called for government intervention to regulate fare prices. Transport minister Wee Ka Siong told reporters on Sunday that MOT’s top management has been instructed to contact the involved companies for explanation regarding the alleged increase in fares. “An increase from RM20 to RM70 in the current situation is seen as burdensome to the people, so I think as a policymaker, we will see if any party is taking advantage to make a profit,” he said....

Just as a refresher for those who aren’t familiar with the second generation Razr foldable phone, it has a 6.2-inch foldable OLED panel as its main display alongside a 2.7-inch external screen that Motorola called Quick View display. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G, the 5G-capable phone also features an 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage but the phone does not come with expandable storage option though. The Razr 5G also comes with a 48MP camera on its back as well as 20MP selfie camera as its photography tools....

Also as per previous rumours, the Razr will be midrange model. That said, the price may not reflect this, considering it’s also a foldable smartphone. As a result, it’s expected to come with a EUR1500 (~RM6945) price tag. This makes it more affordable than the Samsung Galaxy Fold or the Huawei Mate X, but that’s not saying much. The Motorola Razr will be keeping its iconic design when it does make its return....

If anything, it’s almost a carbon copy of the GS65 Stealth, save for its size and slightly (but understandably) thicker base. Other design differences include the notebook’s hinges, which at a glance looks a lot sturdier and durable than the ones on the GS65 Stealth. Alleged press images of the new phone, known as the Xperia PRO-I, have recently made its way online through a leak on Chinese social media website Weibo (shared by Twitter user I_Leak_VN). If accurate, this would mean that the yet-to-be-announced device will be a sequel to last year’s Xperia PRO. Customers will then have to utilise the bank’s Secure2u feature to authorise these transactions. For those who aren’t familiar with it, Secure2u essentially tied your Maybank2u user ID to one particular phone or tablet for security purposes. Secure2u has two main functionalities with one of them being the Secure TAC generator which provides the 6-digit Secure TAC directly on customers’ device that they can use for selected transactions. The other function under Secure2u is called Secure Verification which would ask for customers’ authorisation via a notification that would appear on their device after the transaction is initiated....

In general, NVIDIA claimed that the new Ada-based laptop GPUs can be up to four times more powerful than their predecessors.
