To start, we now know what the roles of each of the cameras are. The main shooter comes with an aperture of f/1,8 and 1.25μm pixels. There’s no mention of its pixel count, despite the company previously promoting it at the world’s first 64MP quad-camera setup on a phone. This is followed by the 119-degree ultra wide-angle lens, a macro lens, and a portrait lens. Other items on the spec sheet that has been made known are the 5000mAh battery, and a Qualcomm chipset....

To quickly recap, the realme 5S comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ display, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset. As expected, only the 4GB + 128GB model was brought into the country. The phone also packs a 5000mAh battery. As for cameras, it comes with a quad-camera setup. The lead unit is the 48MP sensor, followed by an 8MP wide angle camera, a 2MP portrait shooter, and a 2MP macro camera....

Before we go further, let’s see what other components have been listed in the phone’s general specifications. The GT 2 Pro features a paper-like back cover which was designed by realme’s long-time collaborator, Japanese industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa and made from a bio-based copolymer resin called LNP ELCRIN from Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC). However, this material is only used for the Paper White and Paper Green version of the phone....

Lithuanian site Pigtou has shared images by Twitter leakster @OnLeaks depicting the Samsung pop up device. The renders show that the pop up segment houses a single camera. The device itself has a display that’s about 6.5 inches diagonally. And while there’s no notch, there’s still quite the significant chin at the bottom. Speaking of bottom, the Samsung device is depicted as having a USB-C port, but no 3.5mm audio jack, which is no longer surprising at this point....

It came at the end of a new trailer that was released alongside its new showcase stream. It also contained a few drops of story elements, and a sprinkle of gameplay. In it we also see some of the grunt enemy types that will be appearing in the game. But at the very end, we get to the more relevant, juicy details of the game’s release. Resident Evil Village will be released on 7 May 2021....

And the feature in question comes in the form of a rotating camera setup. The setup allows the Galaxy A80 to have a single array; allowing it to rotate to the front whenever you need to take selfies. Specifically, the back of the phone automatically raises itself whenever you engage the selfie mode, allowing for the rear-facing camera to face the front while sitting slightly above the display. The camera setup is pretty impressive as well....

To break it down, the new OLED display uses a base layer of reflective metal with “nanoscale corrugations”, which is also known as an optical metasurface. The metasurface can then be used to manipulate the reflective properties of light, allowing different colours to resonate within the pixels. Ideally, using this display in both AR and VR applications would enable developers in the video game or VR industry to create a seemingly flawless image for users and future headsets....

For context, the Galaxy A51 back in May had 128GB of storage space. This is the same as when the phone was first released a month before that. This new iteration, as you’d have guessed, has 256GB instead. Beyond that, it’s essentially the same phone that was launched half a year ago. But to quickly recap, the Samsung Galaxy A51 comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display, an Exynos 9611 chipset, and a 4000mAh battery....

The Galaxy Book S runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, but contrary to earlier reports, it is not the Snapdragon 855. Instead, the system runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8cx compute platform, an octa-core processor that is also based on Qualcomm’s 7nm process node. Running at a combined speed of 2.84GHz and 1.8GHz. The Galaxy Book S also comes with 8GB LPDDR4X to help the main processor chug along, while storage comes in a choice of a 256GB or 512GB SSD....

If you missed the report, the Galaxy Note 10 is priced at RM 3699 while the Galaxy Note 10+ 256GB can be obtained for RM 4199. There’s also the 512GB option for Galaxy Note 10+ which goes for RM 4799. Just like previous Samsung flagship devices, the company has also announced the pre-order program for Galaxy Note 10 series. Naturally, pre-order customers will receive some goodies alongside their new phones: Consumers in Malaysia are able to pre-order the new Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ from today until 18 August over at Samsung Malaysia’s official website....

In fact, it is actually a different device altogether since it has totally different specifications as compared to the standard Galaxy S10. For starters, the Galaxy S10 5G carries a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Quad HD+ display which is said to be the largest in Galaxy family so far. Not only that, it also comes with the largest battery that Samsung ever equipped into a Galaxy smartphone at 4500mAh complete with support for a 25W fast charger....

According to multiple sources, it appears that the Ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner is in such a league of its own; normal, run-of-the-mill screen protectors won’t cut the mustard with the phone and would reportedly prevent any proper interaction with the Galaxy S10. In fact, it’s so special that only one company – Whitestone Dome – has made the claim that it is the only company with its Dome Glass protectors....

Based on details from a documentation allegedly seen by the publication, the hardware in question is claimed to be known as “Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform for Galaxy”. Unlike the version that’s featured on other flagship smartphones, the 4 nm chip used on the Galaxy S23 series will have a higher clock speed of 3.36 GHz instead of 3.2 GHz for its Prime core. This is joined by four Performance cores clocked at up to 2....

Before we go further, I have to note this though: due to some oversight in our logistics arrangement during the Unpacked launch event at San Francisco, I only managed to have around 5 minutes of hands on time with the Galaxy Z Flip. It was rather disappointing but it was out of our control and of course, we try to make the best of it. Back to the new phone, the first thing that I noticed about the Galaxy Z Flip is that its hinge felt more sturdy than the Galaxy Fold....

Considering its nature, Private Share will have a lot more quirks than your average file sharing software. To start, recipients of files shared using this will be prevented from resharing them. Screenshots of received files will also be prevented. Senders can also set an expirty date to the files, after which they simply disappear from the recipient’s device. To make use of this, both the sender and recipient will have to use the Private Share app....

While the underlying technology is the same, the implementation between The Wall and the new consumer model is quite different. The Wall revolves around modular microLED panels which can be stacked to reach sizes of up to 292-inch while the consumer version comes in fixed sizes. Additionally, the consumer microLED TVs have a smaller screen size but are still generally larger than your average TV screen. In Malaysia, the 2021 Samsung microLED TVs will be made available in two sizes including the 110-inch variant which was launched in South Korea last December alongside another variant with a smaller 99-inch screen....

Specifically, sources with information about the situation say that Samsung had already begun moving out the production of its Galaxy A series smartphone to a Chinese third-party manufacturer named Wingtech. For those unaware, Wingtech is one of multiple ODMs that exists within China. Hired by major smartphone brands like Huawei to sometimes mass-produce entry-level smartphones. Samsung’s decision to outsource the production of its Galaxy A series is essentially a gamble; it runs the risks of its product not being made up to its internal standards....

The S-Foldable sports a flexible display that transforms back and forth from phone to tablet mode via two hinges – with the process itself resembling an “S” shape, hence the device’s namesake. From the image provided by Samsung, the phone features what appears to be a triple camera setup on its left side, while on the right is a transparent material which serves as a cover for its display in smartphone mode....
